My Top Three Products From MAC

MAC has been one of my favourite brands. It is a bridge between high street and high end, with one of the biggest varieties in products, shades and formulas - due it being founded for makeup artists. As a blogger, it can be hard to recommend certain products as they might not have a decent shade range, but with MAC, each of these products can be worn by anyone - or in a different shade! Today I'm sharing three of my favourite products, and it also happens to coincide that one is for face, lips and eyes!

Easily some of the best lipsticks of all time. I have five in my collection and that is purely out of self-constraint. Although since I purchased these, a MAC counter has opened in my town so it is probably going to increase in the coming years. MAC has a huge range of shades and formulas - there is literally one, two, or more for every single person.

I personally prefer the matte and satin finishes. In the Mattes, I’ve got Whirl, Antique Velvet, Taupe, Ruby Woo (Retro Matte). I’ve also got Mocha which is a Satin. At the moment, I’ve got my eye on Chili, and the gorgeous Matte Royal which is a navy.

I own a few other MAC eyeliners, and other pencil eyeliners but this is easily the one I use the most. I use it most to line either my top or bottom lashline, or both. It is very creamy so it is very easy to apply to either area, but can also be perfect to blend out for a smudgy, smokey look.

I used it to re-create my usual eyeliner flick in my High Street vs. High End GRWM post, and I did mention that it is a little trickier for that so I would suggest only using it for smudgy lines but it is a great eyeliner nonetheless. I’ve also barely got through the pencil as well and I’ve had it for a very long time. So for £15, it is a great bargain.

After trying this powder, I prefer a loose powder over the traditional pressed. I found this powder kept the shine away for the longest, but wasn’t too heavy for use under the eyes. It is also the best translucent powder. I’ve had others that are also white, but do not blend out as well to be fully translucent as this one. It also lasts a long time. I’ve only just finished it in the last month.

At the moment I do have some pressed powders to use up, but I will probably repurchase this after.

Have you tried any MAC products?
