November Birchbox: The Nutcracker & The Four Realms

Whilst it is November, and I like to keep my Christmas celebrations until the 1st December, it is already arriving at Birchbox. This month's box was in partnership with the new film, The Nutcracker And The Four Realms. The Nutcracker is the epitome of Christmas, and one of the most beautiful ballets. If you haven't seen it already, you really should. This film doesn't quite follow the same story line as the ballet, but it still features elements of ballet and looks really fun. Who knows, maybe two doses of Nutrcracker this year will make a really Christmassy-Christmas. I tried something different with my flat-lay today, let me know what you think! Let's (nut) crack into this month's box!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Diamond Duster Roller Shadow in Enchanted
Add a touch of sparkle and shine to your make-up game with this shimmering treat. The rollerball packaging guarantees smooth, easy application and long-lasting colour without any mess or fuss. Plus, it works on eyes, face, and even lips if you're feeling experimental.
This was the option that we could choose from. I decided to go with the shade Enchanted, which is a gorgeous bronzey-copper shade. Roller balls remind me of the little cheap makeup you could get from Claire's when you were like 11. Hopefully this is a lot better. I have liked what I have tried from Manna Kadar through my Birchbox so I have high hopes for this.

Just as important as the lipstick you choose to wear? The lip liner you pair with it. Rich in pigment and long-wearing, this one will help to keep your colour exactly where you want it. The universally-flattering shade will play nicely with your existing lippies and it’s so soft and creamy that you can use it to fill your entire pout.
Now this was a little confusing. In my little booklet which comes with your Birchbox, it said that I had the shade #TBT, yet the image and the actual product was the shade Werk It. Very confusing. However Werk It looks like a great colour, and one that I would naturally go for anyway. It has a slightly rose-tone and really looks like a your lips but better.

Created specially to help your skin regenerate while you catch some Zs, it's effectively a great night's sleep in a pot! Enriched with boreal algae, a unique ingredient that reacts to the light of the moon, it speeds up your skin cell's natural regeneration process to plump and smooth the skin's surface leaving it beautifully radiant upon waking.
All the skincare that I have tried from Polaar has been absolutely amazing. The last thing I was sent was the facial suncream and it was so good - did not feel greasy at all. I love giving my skin any extra love to make up for the lack of love it recieved when I was a teenager. I did not know much about skincare other than stuff for spots, and as I did not really get them, I just did nothing. Bit gross I know. This sounds really nice and I cannot wait to give it a go!

Sometimes applying lip balm again and again (and again) just doesn’t cut it when it comes to reviving dry, chapped lips. Buff away dead skin and prime your pucker for your boldest lipstick with this gentle scrub. Formulated with sugar particles and shea butter, it’ll leave your lips soft, hydrated, and smooth.
This is another brand that I have loved trying their products. I have actually been in need of a lip scrub recently, and was considering a trip to Lush, but now I don't have too. I like that this is not in a tub, seems a little more hygienic, and potenitally a lot less messy. It will be interesting to try. As I wear mostly matte lipsticks, I think this will help get a nice smooth appearance.

When you’re feeling tired and stressed out it can be hard to switch off. Luckily, Spacemasks are here to make it a little easier to unwind. Infused with mood-calming jasmine, they help to soothe the senses for a much-needed moment of calm. Plus, a thin layer of iron filings inside the mask entwine with oxygen molecules in the air so it gently heats up on your skin. And relax…
It is like Birchbox was reading my mind. I mentioned on Instagram last week that I had been feeling really tired for days, despite having at least 8 hours of sleep. Whilst I am now taking another vitamin to help, it is great to have this in case it happens again. Also probably great for a Sunday evening, to help get the perfect night sleep before the working week begins!

I really enjoyed opening this month's box and seeing so many of my favourite brands that I have tried through Birchbox. I really hope that I like all these because from the surface, I could see myself repurchasing a lot of these!
