Birchbox Beauty Products You Should Get For Your Makeup Bag

I love getting my Birchbox every month. It is such a great way to try new brands and new products. Sometimes you get to try a product you might have wanted to try for ages but not wanted to spend the money on. Although I will always write up what I received in my Birchbox every month, but I don't always talk about how the products worked out. In today's post, I am going to talk about five products that I have received in my Birchbox, have loved and I think that you should get for your make-up bag. This is not a sponsored post, I just love Birchbox and all these products.

Birchbox Beauty
I mentioned in a previous post that achieving a glowing base was not something I am always particularly good at. This has changed. In my most recent Birchbox, I received this BB Cream. Now whilst it does not provide a whole lot of coverage, it gives you such a gorgeous natural glow - no glitter here. It starts out looking quite dark before you blend it in, but once you have, you are just left with a glow.

Now if you have paler skin-tone, you might notice the pigment a little, but it is very easy to blend. I am not sure if it would work on darker skin-tones, but I do think Marcelle should expand this into more shades because it is such a nice product, and everyone should be able to get the glow!

Sadly, we all have to take our make-up at the end of the day - even if the make-up is Instagram perfection. Whilst I adore my Garnier Micellar Water, when I first got this Marcelle make-up remover I did not use it for months. This will take off everything. Eyeliner, mascara, matte lipstick. Everything.

I have not been disappointed with any of the Marcelle products I've tried so far, it is definitely a brand that shpuld get some more love!

The only other cream blush I have tried was MAC's Ladyblush, you know back when it was one of the products that every beauty YouTuber had. Sadly I could just never get it to work and I just never got into cream blushes again. Until now. The LAQA & Co. B'Lighter is amazing. It blends super easily, is long-lasting and provides a gorgeous peach flush to the skin

I only use this as a glowing blush, but what is great about it being marketed as a blush and a highlighter - every skin-tone should be able to find a use for it. I would love to see how this would work out on darker skin-tones, I could just see it giving such a gorgeous glow.

This is the only full-size in this post but that is because I bought it from the Birchbox Pop-Up shop on Carnaby Street. I have spoken about this lip balm on Instagram and my favourite lip balms update post. Now I will admit, spending £10 on a lip balm seems a little ridiculous. I know a few years ago I would not have purchased this.

I am so glad I did. This lip balm saved my dry lips during the 'Beast From The East' freeze can visited the UK in February and March. It lasts really well on the lips so you don't have to worry about constantly reapplying.

Tinted lip balm is such a great option for if you cannot be bothered to do a full lip. I have talked about these before so I won't go on too much about them. A brief round-up is that whilst they are not the most super-moisturing lip balm ever, they do deliver a nice sheer colour to the lips.

I have the shades Honey Nectar and Natural Rose.

So these are the top five products that I love from Birchbox that you should definitely get! All the products are available from the Birchbox shop, but I would totally recommend getting a subscription as well!

  2. Glad to see you've found some gems that work for and that you love! That's what you need from these boxes. Sadly I never got that but it was still nice trying new products.

    1. When did you get them? I think they have updated the questionnaire that they do so it's a lot easier to get stuff that's more likely to work for you.
