Eyeliner is a staple part of my makeup routine, and has from the start. I don't think I've ever done my makeup without it. Benefit Cosmetics is also one of my favourite makeup brands, I am a big fan of the Hoola Bronzer and Roller Lash mascara. So when I heard Benefit were bringing out the Roller Liner liquid eyeliner, I was very excited. I've mentioned these on Instagram but I thought I would write a blog post as well. Spoiler alert - I love them!

The Brown One
I was a little sceptical about a brown liquid eyeliner as I am so used to wearing black. I've used blue eyeliners before but there was something that never really attracted me to brown. However, I have really been enjoying it! Whilst you can tell it's brown, it is still fairly dark. I often use this when I going for a very natural look.
The Black One
I know I said I loved my ASOS Eyeliner, I might have changed my mind. Also I think ASOS might not be making that anymore. I can easily say that this is one of the easiest eyeliners I have ever used. It is super black and really stands out on the eye. I knew after trying the brown, that I had to have the black version, and that I was going to love it.
Overall Thoughts
I love them. Since getting the black, I have been only using these too. Whilst I still use the black on a more everyday basis, I've been getting a lot more wear out of the brown than I thought. Both have a slightly liquid-y formula which means they glide on easily. I think it's the fastest I've ever been able to achieve the flick bit.
They also last really well, whilst I can't attest to 24 hours, even when my eye has felt a bit watery, neither has budged, and there has been no flaky bits. I've mainly stuck with high street eyeliners before, so paying nearly £20 for one could be a bit much, but to be honest I would happily repurchase either without question.

I love the benefit roller lash mascara so I definitely need to give the liner a go! I love a good cat eye. I’ve never worn a brown liner before either but it sounds really nice. Great review x
