My Current Favourite Blushes - Peachy Pink Bliss

Adding some blush can make the difference to how you look. A pop of colour brings life, warmth and a healthy look to the skin. Whilst the beauty community is still in love with bronzing and highlighting, a would chose a blush over both of them if I had to. In today's post, I will be talking about four of my favourite blushes that I am currently switching between. Like many base products, the colours that each person will love and what will look good at them will differ between people so these are what I love, and what I think looks good on me.

Benefit Cosmetics Sugarbomb
Sugarbomb I feel, is becoming one of the OG Benefit boxed powders. Funny story, when I was given this, I had actually wanted Coralista but its been a few years and I've still got this and using on a regular basis, and no Coralista! Despite having the four sections, it definitely gives one overall colour, a warm light orange with a pink tone. Now I know orange blush might sound a little strange, but it is very subtle and warms up the skin nicely.

Benefit Cosmetics GALifornia
I was really excited for this launch and when I visited Sephora whilst on holiday in Mallorca, I picked up the smaller version to test. I love it! Now it must be noted that the smaller box does not contain the shimmer overlay, so I am tempted to get the full-size to see which I prefer. However, if you are looking for a matte peach-pink blush, you should get the smaller size.

Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette in Coral Glow
I bought this product when I did my one brand make-up look for back to school in September, but I've actually used it quite a lot since. The blush is my favourite, it is probably the most 'pink' out of all my blushes, but in a good way and looks very flattering. Similar to Sugarbomb, there is a light shimmer running through but it does also appear more subtle. If Rimmel brought this blush out individually, I would buy it, but to be honest, I think I would still repurchase this palette, even just for the blush.

LAQA & CO B'Lighter Blush + Highlighter in Peacher's Daughter
I've mentioned before that I haven't always been a fan of cream blushes, or cream products in general but this product has changed my mind. I received this in my March Birchbox and whilst I was a bit sceptical to try it, it has become of one my most used Birchbox products. It is marketed as a blush and highlighter so it is shimmery, but for me it still works better as a blush. The shimmer is not too intense either.

So these are my current favourite blushes, what colour blushes do you normally go for? Do you have one firm favourite, or are you a multiple blusher like me!

  1. I have such a love hate relationship with blush! Somtimes I feel it makes me look older but other times I just love it and the pop of colour it brings to my face! I go for brighter blushes because of my dark skintone, so many of my friends are shocked by it haha!
