Valentine's Day Lush Haul

I always love when Lush brings out a themed collection. There is always some amazing and creative things to choose from, and I love how cute they all look together. At EasterHalloween and Christmas I did a Lush haul so I thought I would do a haul of some of the Valentine's Day stuff! Who needs a date when you can have an amazing bath! Now there is a lot of pink in this haul which is unsurprising but I think they all look really sweet. One thing I did notice is that most of these were over £4 which is on the pricier end for Lush bath bombs and bubble bars, and also in comparison to other special collections. So let's see what I picked up!

Lush Valentines Day Haul - Life Of A Beauty Nerd
Love Boat Bath Bomb
Whether you're testing the waters of a new relation-ship, or it's a bit rocky, why not push the boat out with a trip on the Love Boat? With a cargo of bright organic sweet orange and Sicilian lemon oils, this bath bomb is about to set sail and it's all aboard! Place into hot water for a bath that really floats your boat. As it chugs around, let the zesty and uplifting scent take you down the river for the ride of your life.
I feel like this is the main star of the Valentine's collection. It feels quite big in comparison to the normal bath bombs but I think that it mainly due to the shape and design. I like that this has a bit of blue as well so hopefully it will turn the bath a gorgeous purple shade. Also, it apparently moves like a boat in the water as it fizzes so that will be interesting to see!

Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb
Love is blind, which is a shame because this bombshell with a floral triplet of yellow rose petals, rose absolute and rose oil is an enthralling spectacle to watch. As it fizzes, the outer shell breaks away and magnificent petals burst out in a sweet haze of Sicilian lemon and floral geranium oils.
I am a big fan of rose-scented things, if you have read my perfumes post, it's not a surprise! This is the only one I chose that looks like a traditional bath bomb. I like the subtle rose design, it also reminds me a little of the style of the new jelly bath bombs. As it is pink and green, I'm not entirely sure about what colour the bath will end up, it depends on how strong the green is. One of the reasons why I am not a fan of the Experimenter bath bomb is the bath ends up a weird greenish-brown colour.

Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb
"Tisty-tosty, tell me true, who shall I be married to?" If you dream of love stories with marvel, intrigue and the occasional dragon, drop this captivating blend of woody orris root powder and restorative rose absolute into the water. Seven rosebuds burst from the spellbinding pink heart as you breathe in Sicilian lemon oil, geranium and sensual jasmine. You're entranced into a mystical world full of dusty pink love potions and possibilities... Make a wish!
Tisty Tosty is a regular Lush bath bomb but for Valentine's Day, they have revamped it and gave it a pink makeover! I think I have tried the original bath bomb but a long time ago. As this has rose petals in it, you will have to be careful when emptying it. Again, this has rose in it so I'm looking forward to trying it!

Whole Lotta Love Bubbleroon
Love: how better to describe it than two vivid red hearts sandwiched together with creamy, skin-softening organic shea butter?
I have only just really started using Bubbleroons, but I think they are pretty good. I feel like this will be a very intense bubbleroon, not only with the glitter but the pigment in the two hearts. I do love how this looks, I think the two red hearts paired with the gold glitter looks really stunning together. Looking forward to some beautiful bubbles!

Heart Of Enlightenment Expectation
Don't go breakin' my heart, crumble and melt it instead. With ylang ylang and bergamot oils to brighten moods, treat someone (or yourself) to something extra special. Whether you're expecting a proposal, a romantic evening or even just some peace and quiet, start it off with a hot bubble bath that softens skin with Fair Trade organic cocoa butter. Heady geranium, jasmine and rose create a floral fantasy in the bath that soothes and calms allowing you to step out with confidence.
I love using a bath melt, they make the bath feel so luxurious and are great for when you've shaved your legs, you might not even need a body lotion! I like that this is not a pink heart, I love the swirly design tying in the white and orange pattern. This has some great moisturising and soothing ingredients, I know I will be feeling very pampered after this bath!

I always love posting a Lush haul and I think there is some pretty great stuff in this collection. Have you bought anything from the Lush Valentine's Day collection?

    1. Not going to lie, it was a little anti-climatic when I used it - I thought it was going to fizz around the bath a lot more but it didn't. The bath though was still quite nice.

  2. So many people absolutely love Lush but I never buy any of their products, the only thing I have from them is the lip scrub which I do love! These do look amazing though I especially like the boat shaped one!

  4. That boat one sounds and looks amazing! When I see posts like these showing the Lush products - it makes me really sad that I don't enjoy baths! Haha. The products always look so pretty! I might have to pick up a few of their Valentine's Day stuff and test it - see if it changes my mind!

    1. It was a little anti-climatic as it did not fizz around the bath like a boat like I thought it would do but it was still a really nice bath! The Easter stuff is now available and I am already bursting to explore some of that!
