My New Daily Makeup Routine

Since I posted what was in my makeup bag, I have found that my routine has changed a little. Now, it hasn't really changed too dramatically but as it features some new products that I am absolutely loving, I thought I would write an updated post!

The foundation of my make-up routine is largely the same. I am still starting off with concealer all over my eyelid as a base (I am currently finishing up my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer - any recommendations for a new concealer will be appreciated!) and then setting that with my Body Shop All-In-One Face Base in 03 and to also act as my main eyeshadow base.
I have been recently using my Oh So Special palette from Sleek and using the matte brown shade in my crease to add a bit of definition. If I'm feeling extra fancy, I will take a mixture of the darker more cool-toned brown and the black shades and apply them to my outer corner.
After switching back to gel liner for a bit, I have now found a new love in the Soap & Glory Supercat Fat eyeliner to do my usual big flick. When I was in Boots, I was originally going to buy the original Supercat liner as I had heard how popular it was. However, I was drawn to the Supercat Fat which I hadn't seen before and since I wear my eyeliner quite thick anyway, I decided to purchase the Supercat Fat and I LOVE IT! It is the easiest eyeliner I have ever used in my life and it cuts down the time I do my make-up in even more!

Now another new favourite of mine is a mascara. When Benefit released They’re Real mascara, it was my new favourite mascara. I have finished two full size products and had I not become obsessed with this new mascara, I probably would still use They’re Real. The mascara in question is also from Benefit and it is their latest release Roller Lash mascara. I’m currently finishing off the tester that I had got from a magazine but I will definitely be purchasing the full size once the tester is finished. I love the volume and length that it gives me. I have really short eyelashes and I love how my lashes look with it.

I have also been using my Sleek Face Form palette in Light for my bronzer, blush and highlight. It is a great palette for when you are in a rush but want a full face of makeup. I use the bronzer the most with my Real Techniques duo-fiber face brush from the Nic's Picks collection and it gives a very natural bronze look to the skin.

I didn’t include any lipstick in the photo for this post as I don’t wear the same lipstick everyday. I often switch between all my bright lipsticks or my new neutral loves (M.A.C lipstick in Creme Cup and the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob.)

So that’s my updated everyday makeup routine! I sometimes change it up a little for evening or if I’m feeling adventurous but this is the main look I have been going for!
