Natural Eyeshadow Palettes - My Top Picks

Last month I wrote my desert island beauty picks for eyeshadow palettes. I then followed it up with a beauty picks post on just warm eyeshadow palettes. I thought it would be good to do another follow-up post with other palettes. I was going to call this cool-toned palettes, but most of the palettes I own tend to include at least one neutral/slightly warmer eyeshadow. So I've gone with 'natural' eyeshadow palette picks.

Rimmel London Magnif'Eyes Nude Edition

Want the London look? All eyes on you! Magnif'Eyes eye contouring palette spice edition is an 12-shade ALL IN ONE eyeshadow, liner, and highlighter palette. High-shimmer, ultra-smooth, blendable formula to easily create endless combinations of looks with one eye palette! Define and highlight eyes with this no-makeup makeup nude eyeshadow palette.

The Stats
12 Shades
£8.99

I mentioned in the Warm Eyeshadow Palette post that the Spice Edition is a great high street dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Heat. So it is probably not surprising that the Nude Edition is a great high street dupe for the original Naked palette. If anything, it is a better dupe than the other. I would say I get a little more use out of the Spice Edition, but this is still a great palette.

Urban Decay Original Naked Palette

Our classic Naked Palette has revolutionised neutral makeup forever. Brimming with 12 gold-hued eyeshadow shades and matte, satin, shimmer and sparkle textures, the Urban Decay Naked Palette is anything but dull.

The Stats
12 Shades
£39.50

Now I know this is discontinued, so really it should not have been in this post at all but I just love it so much! An iconic beauty item. I really feel like this palette shook up the eyeshadow palette game. Also, I feel it moved Urban Decay away from just being a brand known for bright and bold colours. The Naked range has is continuing the grown into face palettes.

The eyeshadows are really great, and it is a shame that this palette is no longer available - I'm presuming now all stock everywhere would be gone. Yet, we can still get our hands on the Rimmel palette.

Too Faced Natural Matte

So effortless you can wear it before breakfast and after dark, this perfect palette allows you to flaunt your natural side – with just a little enhancement. With irresistible pink, taupe and brown hues, this portable eye enhancer unites nine velvety mattes, with enlarged base shades to ensure you don’t run out of those first.

The Stats
9 Shades
£34.00

Despite my favourite eye primer keeping shimmery eyeshadows at bay, I think I will always prefer matte. Just like in lipstick. What I like about this palette is that it has three pale matte shades as well that can be used as a highlight. The middle shades are probably the least pigmented, but do build up nicely. This is the newest addition but I really do enjoy using this palette.

What have you used up this month?

Ellyn xx

  1. I had no idea the Naked palette had been discontinued! I have it thankfully and I have recently found my love for it again! I really want to try a Too Faced palette as I have heard such great things about them!

  2. I loved this post! I love eyeshadow but I'm not very daring so natural palettes are the ones for me, thanks for sharing! x

  3. I have very hooded eyes so I don't tend to wear eyeshadow much, or only nude shades if I do. That's a shame about the Naked palette being discontinued though, I gather it's been very popular. That said, ALDI are doing some great dupes for the Naked palettes atm so maybe all is not lost! Lisa x

  5. I love how you gave such a holistic view of all the palettes. I love that kind of makeup that feels like you haven't used any make up at all, if that makes sense? :P

    So this recommendation is perfect.

  6. I'm so sad they're no longer manufacturing the original NAKED palette. I always loved that one. I haven't tried the other ones you recommended though, so I need to do that!
