Face
As with all of my makeup looks, I had to start with my Smashbox Primerizer. Not only is this my favourite and go-to primer, this gives a lovely fresh glow to the skin. Perfect for spring. For my concealer, I went with my Collection Lasting Perfection. This is great as even the smallest amount provides plenty of coverage. I want to keep the skin looking light and fresh, so I used a small amount under my eyes.To really enhance a natural, spring look to the face I am using my Hourglass Unlocked Ambient Lighting Edit for the rest of my face. The blush, bronzer, highlighter and powder all have a subtle glow running through them – proving that you can achieve glowy skin with powders.
Eyes
To start off my eye look, I used my NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base. As I am using a brown eyeliner, I wanted to keep the rest of the eye brown as well. I decided to use the shade Less Is More from my Too Faced Natural Matte palette.
Recently I have been trying out the Benefit Roller Liner in Brown. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I actually really like it. It is a lot more natural-looking. I did my usual cat-eye flick. I finished off the eyes with my Maybelline Snapscara.
Lips
To keep with the natural look, I went with a nude lip. I first lined my lips with the Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Liner in Dusty Rose. Then I went over top with the Too Faced Melted Matte in Child Star. The lip liner is slightly darker than the liquid lipstick but Child Star is borderline concealer lips, but pairing it with a lip liner gives it a bit more colour.
I've been wanting to try the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders for ages - they look so nice! I try to have a more natural look in Spring too so I'm thinking of swapping my foundation for a BB cream x
