April Birchbox - You're A Gem

We are already a third through the Birchbox posts for 2019! That is crazy! Remember when months used to drag on for ages - what changed? This month's box is inspired by the positive healing of crystals. Whilst I am not really into crystals, energies etc., I remember a shop that used to be in my local shopping centre where you could buy lots of crystals, and my friends and I used to love going there! I really love the design of the box as well, all the blues, purples and pink. There is also a mirror inside so it could also work as a travel makeup bag - complete with mirror! Very handy! Let's see what is inside this month!

ESTATE Cosmetics Dew Me Baked Highlight Powder - Afterglow

This silky-smooth powder brightens and highlights skin in a single sweep, blending seamlessly and smoothly to give your cheekbones, brow bone or the tip of your nose just the right glow. Its baked technology creates a sheer, light texture for delicate-looking, buildable radiance (trust us!).

Now this will be interesting to try, a purple highlighter. To be honest I am not expecting to love it, however it might end up working nicely as an eyeshadow. This was the product that we could choose between shades, and the other option was more of a yellow, so I probably should've chosen that but sadly I forgot. 

Benefit The POREfessional

This silky, oil-free primer diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish whilst keeping your make-up in place. It goes on sheer, leaving skin instantly even and smooth. No wonder it’s the UK’s no.1 bestseller!

I've used the POREfessional many times, and it is a lovely product. I am a big fan of Benefit's products so whenever something appears from them in my Birchbox, I am always excited! Nowadays I don't tend to use this sort of primer all over my face, but it is nice on the areas where my pores are a lot larger.

Vitamasques Diamond Eye Pads

Whether it’s late Netflix-fuelled nights or a tiring commute, chances are your eyes could do with some TLC. Enter: this all-star blend of diamond powder (yes, really!) and caffeine to hydrate, brighten and de-puff your peepers.

I'm really intrigued to try these. I spend a lot of time looking at a screen, whether I am working or chilling at home. Whilst I need to cut down on that, anything else that can help soothe my eyes I am interested to try. Intrigued by the diamond powder.

Human+Kind Body Souffle

This lightly whipped cream makes hydrating your body with its nourishing formula feel like a luxurious task. Extremely velvety and easy to apply, the uber-moisturising ingredients like aloe vera and botanical oils quickly melt in to the skin and leave it feeling soft and supple.

I like have sample sizes of body moisturisers, great for tkaing on holiday. As this is supposed to be super moisturising, and contains aloe vera, this will be a great choice to pack in a travel makeup bag if you are going on a hot holiday. I also like souffle formulas as they are nice and light so you don't have to wait ages for putting clothes on.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream

This Wonder-ful multi-tasker softens, smooths and brightens the delicate eye area. Its unique blend, including Roman chamomile, virgin coconut, cucumber, rosehip and carrot oils, is rich yet light enough to absorb easily.

I have only recently been using an eye cream in my skincare routine, only because it actually feels really nice on the skin. I have liked other skincare I have tried from Balance Me so looking forward to seeing how this matches up! It sounds very soothing and hydrating.
