Outfit Of The Evening: Bon Voyage!

Recently, whenever I have found an evening outfit, I have always rushed to grab my camera and rope in one of my family members to take some photographs for me. I am always wanted to put up some more fashion content on this blog, and it is something I am working on so hopefully, this won't be the last fashion post in months. Although, if you are reading this in the future and I have not stuck to this promise, let me know it the comments! This was my evening outfit from Monday night. My family and I went out to dinner as it was my sister's last night before she set off early yesterday morning for her year abroad in Australia. I have worn this outfit before and got some compliments on it so I thought I would put it up!

Wide leg trousers are still one of my favourite clothing items. I now own three pairs, and I often end up wearing them one day after the other. Hygiene is literally the only thing stopping me from wearing these everyday.

This is my current favourite pair. They are a black striped (although it could pass for a very dark navy) pair from H&M. I bought these with some birthday money and I am just in love. Regular readers might remember that my family and I have a problem with stripes - our united fashion weakness.

As I was going out for dinner, I decided to go with this slightly more fancy vest top, which I also picked up from H&M. I love the stripe effect that appears on this top, I think it works really nicely with the stripes in the trousers. 

I paired this outfit with my new heeled sandals from Primark. This are a great option for those who are not a fan of tall heels, or want something cute to wear during the day. These are also wide feet, which is great for me, much more comfortable!

To finish of the look, and to keep in all my essentials, I chose my Topshop OLIVIA Triple Cross Body Bag. As the outfit is mostly black, I thought a pop of red would really stand out. Also I matched it with my lipstick - Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink in Pioneer.

I am definitely going to keep wearing this outfit over the summer - it is the perfect mix of being chic, but cool enough to wear in the hot weather. What are your favourite outfits to wear in the summer evenings?
