June Birchbox - Birchbox X Paperchase

I can't believe that we are already half way through my Birchbox posts for 2019, as well as being half way through June already! This month's box is in collaboration with Paperchase. Paperchase is one of the shops that I often pop into when I am in the town centre, not only is it always packed with great stationery, it often has very cute decor pieces too, inspired by current trends. My sister was also very pleased with the 20% voucher that was inside!

The inspiration behind the box was all about inspiring wanderlust and adventure, which taking a look at the weather we've been having, might not be a bad idea!

This clever pencil gives you an easy way to achieve perfectly defined lips. The secret? It’s a lip liner and lipstick in one - use the tip to line, then fill with buildable colour. Taking out the heavy feel of traditional lipsticks, the creamy formula is lightweight and hydrating, with a gorgeous satin finish.

This is the second lip product from Laritzy that I have received through Birchbox. Last month I did a first impressions on the liquid lipstick. I wore this yesterday as a quick lip option and I liked it. It was very easy to apply and felt very nice on the lips.

Just a few strokes of this magical brush gives you fuller brows that stay in place all day but still look natural, thanks to the water-resistant microfibres that adhere to skin and hair creating fullness and definition. Beginning at the start of your brow and moving outward, use small upward strokes to define and shape. The tiny, tapered brush makes mess-proof application easy.

I love the original version of Gimme Brow, but sadly I don't think I will get much use out of this one. One, this is a volumising version which is something I don't need (thanks Grandad), and two, it's blonde. I have dark brown thick eyebrows so I don't think this will work for me! If you have sparser brows, this might be a good product to try.

This velvety body cream combines the sweet, floral scent of lotus flower with the nourishing power of organic white tea. Intensely hydrating and gorgeously scented, the rich formula sinks in quickly and leaves your body feeling soft and supple all day.

I really like Rituals, I don't think I've tried anything from this particular line but I've got another version of the body cream which I really like so it will interesting to see which scent I prefer! This is also a nice sample/travel size for a body cream too - perfect for a toiletries bag!

This moisturising primer combines orange flower water and hyaluronic acid, keeping your skin hydrated throughout the day. The lightweight formula helps makeup stay put and banishes excess oil - complexion perfection!

Any regular reader will know of my undying love for my Smashbox Primerizer and I very rarely which venture to use something else. However just by reading the description, this sounds very similar and could have the potential to knock Primerizer off its throne! Very excited to give this a go and see how it compares!

This biodegradable shampoo deep cleans hair, wiping out impurities and polluting particles to rebalance your scalp. Formulated with aquatic mint, it leaves hair feeling light, airy and refreshed! Plus, it's ideal for all hair types.

As someone who uses a considerable amount of styling product in my hair, every so often I love to give it a good deep clean. I like the idea of this re-balancing your scalp as well as cleaning your hair. I've also given it a sniff and it smells nice! Not like toothpaste though!

Have you tried any of these products?

  1. The Body cream sounds like a good product. I think the tea sounds wonderful especially with the lotus scent.
