Smoothie Time - Mango Sunshine

It has been absolutely ages since I posted a smoothie recipe! As we have had a sudden rush of warm weather, I thought now was the perfect opportunity to make some smoothie bowls again! At the moment I am loving mango and kiwi, so I thought I would use both of them in a recipe. Mango is a great option to have in a smoothie as it really helps with the texture, but also adds a really nice flavour!

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 250g of frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon(ish) golden syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of dairy-free yoghurt
  1. Pour in the almond milk, or whatever liquid you want to use
  2. Measure out and put all your frozen fruit into your blender, I use a Magimix
  3. Add in the yogurt, then add the golden syrup
  4. Blend! (You want it all to be combined and smooth - timings might be different depending on the strength of your blender)
  5. Pour into a bowl and top with whatever you like! I topped mine with banana, chia seeds, and granola and some kiwi!
I really want to explore more smoothie/smoothie bowl recipes, so if you have any requests or ideas that you would like to see, please let me know in the comments below.

If you check the very top of the blog, you might notice I have added a page with all my smoothie recipes!

Let me know if you try this recipe!

  1. Love that this includes Almond milk and I don't have dairy but I've never tried a dairy-free yoghurt before! This smoothie bowl looks so good though, I love topping mine with spelt granola- so good!
