Five Favourites: February 2018

Another month has passed and I have a new selection of favourite products to feature. It also includes a fashion favourite which is very rare for me! I have used a lot of the make-up products outside of February, but it was really in the last month that these all featured a lot together. This month, I am trying to use more of a variety of different products but these have managed to sneak their way back in most days, I guess that just shows how great these products are. My fashion favourite as you will see, as you're reading this, I'm probably wearing it.

Five Favourites: March 2018 - Life Of A Beauty Nerd
New Look Jumper (Similar Here)
I had been wanting a red jumper for ages and at the end of January, I was extremely lucky to find this beautiful red cable knit jumper in the New Look sale for £6! I don't think that there has been a week since where I haven't worn this jumper at least twice or three times during the week.

It washes really well, it hasn't shrunk or lost its softness which always worries me whenever I buy a new jumper. I featured this jumper on one of my #FashionFriday posts but now I have to be careful not to wear it every Friday, although that is very tempting!

As I got this in the sale, it is no longer available unfortunately.

NARS Velvet Matte Foundation Stick
I have been using this as a concealer for ages and I am still really enjoying this. It is quite a thick formula as it is a stick foundation, but I find the smallest amount makes such a difference. In the last few months I have been enjoying using more shimmery eyeshadows and this has really helped keep the eyeshadow last, just as well as an eyeshadow primer.

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer
I always go back to Hoola because it is just that good. I find that I can use it both for contouring and to give my skin a gorgeous bronze glow. Sometimes I will also use it in my eye make-up as my transition shade as it blends out so easily. Benefit are also doing a limited edition 'Mum's Hoola' for Mother's Day this weekend and tomorrow is the last day to order it in time for Sunday (8th March).

NYX Professional Makeup Retractable Eyeliner in Black
This is still the best black pencil eyeliner that I have ever used. It is really smooth and easy to apply and will last throughout the day, without needing to re-apply. I have not tried this in other colours but if the black eyeliner is good, I assume the others will be just as good. I have also found in the past that retractable eyeliners can break easily (as in the eyeliner itself not the packaging) but I have never had that happen with this one. It is also just over a fiver so its a bargain as well!

Wunder Cosmetics Super-Stay Liquid Eyeliner
There is a reason this is called a super-stay liquid eyeliner. It does not budge. It is so good, it can even be a bit of a pain to take off. However, I think it is completely worth it. It applies really easily, even over shimmery eyeshadows and dries really quickly. It does have a rounded tip so you occasionally have to spend a bit of time creating a flick but I've never had a problem with it.

So these are my five favourite products from the month of February, as always if you have tried any of these products, let me know in the comments!
