Christmas Lush Haul

I cannot believe that it is the 17th of December and I am only posting my Christmas Lush haul. My youngest sister and I love going to Lush and yesterday we were finally both able to take a trip down to our local store to pick up some goodies! Christmas is my favourite season to shop at Lush as I find it gets more and more clever and creative every year. We chose a couple different ones and some of the same ones to use over the Christmas period. Let's get on with the haul!

Star Light Star Bright Bath Melt
Make this the first star you see tonight and have all your wishes granted. Place into hot water and watch it dance across the surface spreading cheerful Chinese ginger and lime oils in its wake. Silky murumuru butter turns the water into a dream for the skin and leaves you feeling soft and moisturised in the luxurious lavender coloured water. So make a wish and get in for seriously silky skin.
This was the first of my sister's choices, she says that she chose it because it was sparkly. That's it. Fair enough. This is a bath melt so whilst it won't make any bubbles or change the colour of the water, you will get a very glittery bath that will make your skin feel incredible.

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb
Happiness is a gift and the trick is not to expect it, but to delight in it when it comes in all its exquisite, sweet orange and lime oil glory. Dickens might not have been on about the surprise parcel of lustre and cognac oil that’s ready to unfurl and create bathtime splendour, but he’d have been just as thrilled by it.
Not only is this bath bomb one of the most difficult to get into a packet, it is of course the one my sister loves the most. It is very shimmery, not glittery and I do love how it looks like an actual present. This year, Lush have also launched a larger version of this bath bomb so if you are still looking for a Christmas present for someone, this could be a great option.

Plum Snow Bubble Bar
Tell Jack Frost to get lost and leave your nose alone. This joyfully juicy bubble bar will have you dancing in a blizzard of fruity foam. Crumble under running water to whip up a flurry of plum and Sicilian mandarin scented bubbles and let them whisk your worries away. As you bathe, a hint of osmanthus catches on the breeze with a tantalising promise of spring. Let it plum snow, let it plum snow, let it plum snow.
I have been really enjoying using bubble bars recently so I had to pick up some Christmas bubble bars. The first one I chose was the Plum snow, I love the snowflake design on top and it's purple which I love.

Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb
Honey-scented sparkles of Brazilian orange and bergamot waltz with swirling, golden stars, creating a world of cobalt colour. As the calming blanket of shimmering, midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils combine to send your mood rocketing up to the stars.
This bath bomb was another chosen by my sister. This is a great bath bomb as it fills the bath with sparkle and colour but each of the stars contains the two oils that melt down into the bath - it is basically a bath bomb and melt combined. Your bath really does end up looking like the night sky.

The Snowman Bubbleroon
A summer breeze blows away a winter storm, find out what happens to solid bubble bath when it gets warm. Winter's a good time to stay in for cuddles, so crumble into running water and soak in the bubbles. The sky will be blue, Sicilian lemon oil too... Just imagine how much smoother you'll be in summer! Sicilian lemon and lemon myrtle oils make bathtime olaf as it lifts your spirits and whisks you back to summer days. Silky cocoa and Fair Trade shea butters keep your skin smooth and moisturised as soya milk powder softens the water. Banish the winter weather and float away on summer scented clouds.
First of all, I love how the inital description is a re-writing of Olaf's song from Frozen! I found that all the Snowman bubbleroons either had two eyes and no nose, or a nose and only one or no eyes. I thought having a broken nose but two eyes would be less creepy! The bubbleroons are basically a sandwich version of the bubble bars but I find the addition of oil makes the bath much creamier.

Christmas Sweater Bath Bomb
It's getting hot in here, so take off all your Christmas jumpers and socks and jump into a steamy bath! After a busy day of shopping and carrying around all those presents, drop this hot and spicy bomb into the water for some fizzy-ho therapy. Sicilian lemon oil with mustard and ginger powders will ease muscles and warm you to your soul. Coriander seed and clove bud oils are sure to spice up your wife and hygge your husband!
If you don't have a Christmas jumper to wear this season, are you really celebrating Christmas? I think this is my favourite bath bomb that Lush has brought out for Christmas this year. It also smells the most festive in my opinion with the ginger and Sicilian lemon. We both chose one of these ones and can't wait to use it - might even save it for Christmas Eve!

So those are the bath products we chose from the Christmas range. I can't wait to use these over the rest of the festive season - although there are still some that I want to try that they didn't have in our store (like my favourite Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb). As always if you have tried any of these, let me know your thoughts in the comments!
