February Plan With Me - Switching It Up

I love my bullet journal. Over the last year it has made planning my blog and social media content so much easier. However last year was not my first dalliance with a bullet journal. I first started using a bullet journal in 2018, and mainly followed the style of Amanda Rach Lee - with trackers, monthly layout and weekly spreads. However as the months went on, I was using the trackers and monthly layouts less and decided in 2019 to change. Yet I really missed doing the weekly spreads. So this year, I'm mixing them together!

The New Style

I was originally planning to just continue with my Leuchtturm 1917 journal, but when I decided to go with my new set-up, I decided to purchase a new one to start fresh. I chose the Scribbles That Matter A5 Dotted Journal. I like that the pages are white, and also has 160gsm paper. Nothing can bleed through this bad boy! I've got the white cover.

This year, my spreads only include a title page, my planning spreads and the returning weekly spreads. As these are the most used in the last two years, I'm hoping that this will work out! This month, I've gone for a pink roses theme. The title page is inspired by Amanda Rach Lee's February 2017 spread.

Blog Planning

My spreads for my blog planning have not changed. I found that they really worked well so I wanted that to continue. Just like before, I have a spread for the blog, Instagram, IGTV and stats. The spreads including a planning side, and an ideas side. For the stats page, it has a side for blog stats and a side for Instagram stats.

For the blog, Instagram and IGTV pages, I have two boxes at the top that start from the seventh dot in, and end at the seventh dot from the right. On the left page, I colour it in with my Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen, and on the right I just leave it blank. For the drop shadow, I used the Tombow Brush Pen in 723

I then used the Scribbles That Matter Fineliner that came with the journal to put in the days of the month, and then my checkboxes. For the blog it is PWSIFTP (Photo, Words, Scheduled, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest), PPS for Instagram (Photo, Posted, Shared) and FEP for IGTV (Filmed, Edited and Posted.)

On the ideas page for Instagram, I split that page into Makeup, Fashion and Lifestyle.

For my stats spread, it is basically the same format, except I fill in the box on the right black, and the right with the Tombow brush pen. I also draw out the drop shadow and colour the right one in.

Weekly Spread

Like I said above, it was bringing back a weekly spread that has changed my planning. So far it has been working out. The spread for this week (3rd-9th) was inspired by Jade Journals. You can see the original spread here

  1. I love this spread! I'm completely obsessed with amandarachlee! Her spreads are all so lovely, and while I don't use all of them, I definitely let myself get inspired by all the different kinds of spreads she does. I think I might use this spread myself next month! Great post xxx

  2. Argh, your weekly spread is SO CUTE! I don't use a bullet journal myself, but I love looking at other people's!
I love planning my months - this month I have a short holiday booked in, so I've had to make sure I'm organised!
