July Birchbox: Say Yes! To Adventure

I cannot believe that is already July. This year is going by so fast, and with another month, another Birchbox post. I love when the box is a little different to normal, this month is a 'normal' box, as in it doesn't have the usual pull-out drawer. I love the summer feel of this box, it reminds me of ice cream. This month's theme is about saying yes to adventure, although I don't know how relevant it is to my life right at this very moment. This month, there is only brand that I have tried before which is a shame, but I am also excited to try more products from these brands. Let's find out what was inside my box!

We love a multitasker, so this 4-in-1 covering bronzer, brows, contour and eyeshadow is right up our street! Formulated with a custom light texture, the powder glides on smoothly and evenly for the perfect healthy glow.
Manna Kadar is a brand that I have explored a few times through Birchbox, and so far I have been really impressed with what I have tried. Whilst I am a big fan of Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer, I am always up for trying something new. Also, it is darker so it might be nice to try after I've been on holiday.

Lipcote & Co. Browcote
This award-winning Brow Gel counts beauty experts and celebrities amongst its fans – and for good reason. The waterproof clear formula tames and fixes brows while setting brow makeup for hours, for gorgeous, flawless arches.
When I was a teenager, I used to perform in a variety show for Guides and Scouts, known as a gang show. As part of the make-up, we all had to wear a red lip with a coat of Lipcote on top to make it last. Lipcote is infamous for its long-lasting powers so I am interested to see how its brow gel works. I have very long eyebrow hairs, it will be interesting to see if it keeps them in place.

What's in it for me..? Shower Scrub
Buff away dry skin with this uplifting shower scrub. Packed full of natural ingredients, walnut shell naturally exfoliates, sweet almond oil rejuvenates the skin, while orange and jasmine flower leave you smelling divine!
The UK have been experiencing a mini-heatwave and now summer is upon us, I will be baring my legs a lot more. Therefore I am going start prepping my skin more regularly, including making sure all the dry skin is gone. I also love that this is micro-bead free, so it is also great for the environment! Great legs without hurting animals!

Merci Handy Hand Cream - Cherie Cherry
We first discovered this French brand with their sweet-smelling antiseptic hand gels, so we were delighted when we discovered their attention to hand hydration! Brimming with moisturising ingredients and mouthwatering fragrances, these little tubes of joy will transform dry skin into soft, soothed, skin in no time. Oh, and the formula sinks in quickly so there’s no sticky residue left behind!
Hand creams are one of the body lotion products that I really don't use enough. To be honest, I am not a fan of bracelets or rings either - I like my hands to stay pretty plain. However, it is important to show them some love and so far, I have noticed that it sinks in really quickly so I don't have to worry about it feeling sticky, or heavy. It also smells pretty good!

Balance Me Congested Skin Serum
Yikes – you have a spot, a blemish, a breakout! Don't panic. Help is at hand in the form of Balance Me's Congested Skin Serum - a skin saviour that smells so good it feels like a luxury treatment rather than an SOS (and it's suitable for ALL skin types!). Containing the brand's bespoke, high grade pure aromatherapy blend of Roman chamomile, anti-bacterial may chang, calming lavender and eucalyptus that they've expertly suspended in a light, non-greasy petroleum free gel of organic aloe vera and spruce knot, it's a non-drying, skin fixing must-have. Also great for restoring skin's natural balance - when you really feel like your skin needs a reboot - this is the serum for that too.
I don't actually suffer from breakouts (please don't hate me) so i think I will pass this onto someone else who can get more use out of it. I have liked what I have tried from Balance Me before, so hopefully whoever gets this, will get good things out of it.

So that's what was inside my July Birchbox! As always, if you have tried any of these products, let me know in the comments below.
