The first thing that I did notice about these is that the formula is thicker than others I have tried. Now I think that for some people, that could be a good or bad thing. I personally don't mind a thicker formula, as I feel like you have more precision with it, and more time with it as it will take slightly longer to dry than a really liquidly formula.
Seductress:
I am still really into my rosey nudes at the moment, so I knew I would have to pick this up. I bought the Color Sensational Shaping Lipliner in Dusty Rose, which was pretty much a perfect match. It applied fairly easy, considering it has a slightly thicker formula. It did not dry as quicker as my other liquid lipsticks but it was not too long.
About half an hour later, I did a kiss test on my hand and there was no transfer. I also have a swatch from Monday, that is still there a little so it does have staying power. Whilst I was at work I had a glass of water, a cup of tea and lunch. It did slightly transfer onto the tea cup, nothing huge, but the centre did start to come away when I ate my lunch.
It stayed pretty well on my upper lip, but you could see that it had come off in the centre of my lower lip. As it was a nude colour, I was not too concerned but if I was out, I would probably re-apply.
Overall, I really liked Seductress and I will definitely wear it again!
Pioneer:
I am going to go out on a whim and say that this is the best red liquid lipstick that I have tried. This has staying power like nobody's business. So this is the shade I wore today and it did not budge through three drinks, lunch and a 3 mile run which got pretty sweaty. Now I realise I probably shouldn't have worn it on a run, but I was in too much of a rush!
I always find that bolder lip colours do tend to last a little longer but they don't always survive food so I am thoroughly impressed with this product. Even at this time of night, there is still no lipstick transfer. It is crazy!
I used MAC Cherry Lipliner underneath and I think the pair together just made for a great lipstick combo for both colour and longevity.
Out of the two, I definitely prefer Pioneer, but I would highly recommend trying out this range of liquid lipstick. I would say this is the first drugstore liquid lipstick that could level with my Powermattes.
Have you tried any of the Superstay 24 Matte Inks?

Ellyn, what a wonderful post! Love the imagery too! I don't mind a thicker formula either to be honest, as I tend to find that the thinner ones dry so quickly and make my lips all crusty! I'm glad to hear that Pioneer is the best red lip you've tried - you're making me wanna pick it up! x
