April Birchbox: Birchbox X Cath Kidston

This month it is another brand collaboration with Birchbox. For April, it is in celebration of Cath Kidston's 25th birthday! Best known for  gorgeous prints, Cath Kidston is one of the leading names in British lifestyle brands. From spots to Disney, there is a beautiful print selection for everyone. The box design is just gorgeous and I can definitely see it becoming a handy blog picture prop! If you are a big fan of this brand, I would recommend ordering this month's box as it also contained a 15% off £35 voucher! You can buy individual Birchboxes as well as subscriptions so don't feel like to have you have to subscribe to Birchbox to get this month's box - but I would recommend getting a subscription! Let's have a look in this month's box!

April Birchbox: Birchbox X Cath Kidston - Life Of A Beauty Nerd
Model Co Baked Highlighter in Moonshine
Let’s face it; anything described as baked has our interest – bread, muffins, and now make-up! The formula of the new ModelCo blush has been baked to create a weightless powder that glides onto skin for a natural flush of colour. Each shade has a blend dark and light hues swirled through them that, when combined, give you the perfect pop of colour. Even better? They slide on smoothly and stay put all day.
The last Model Co product I got in my Birchbox was a contouring stick, how perfect is it that the next product is a highlighter/blush! All I need to create a perfect cheek! This was the option where we could choose what shade we wanted, I chose the shade Moonshine as it felt like I would get more wear out of it. I love how it looks in the pan, a gorgeous warm marble design - you almost don't want to use it in case you mess it up!

Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel
Seeking a brow that will wow? This is your one-stop-shop to destination brow beautiful! Thicken, define and tame your eyebrows with this all-in-one brow mascara- the easy way to add shape and fill in sparseness for a naturally thick look. Enriched with aloe vera (containing 32 different vitamins and 75 nutrients!), the lightweight formula keeps brows feeling healthy and conditioned to promote hair growth, long term. The perfect fake it ‘till you make it product!
I have quite thick eyebrows and the individual hairs are quite long so I love a good brow gel to keep it all in place. I am a big fan of Benefit's Gimme Brow, but it might not be in everyone's price range. I really hope I like this as it would be a great cheaper alternative. I have not heard of this brand before and on the Birchbox website, they also have sheet masks and a blush serum (whatever that is!) Also this brand is vegan and cruelty-free.

Cath Kidston Hand Cream in Meadow Posy
The iconic Cath Kidston print, combined with their signature scent makes this travel friendly hand cream a must-have for floral lovers across the land! Notes of jasmine, orange flower and vanilla give this cream its dreamy scent, whilst the nourishing vitamin E and Shea butter keep your hands and nails soft, supple and ultra hydrated. Bonus- it also looks gorgeous in your daily essentials make-up bag!
Although I am always a little unsure when clothing/lifestyle shops produce their own beauty and skincare products but so far, this hand creams seems quite nice. Just like the box this month, the packaging is just gorgeous and it smells really nice. I am rubbish at using hand cream but with this gorgeous packaging, I might remember to use it more!

Whish Shave Crave Acai and Grapefruit Shaving Cream
This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture - and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. Unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturising base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I often ending up shaving my legs in the bath with body wash and it has often all come off before I have even finished shaving. I don't think I've ever tried a shaving cream for when I am shaving my legs, it will be interesting to see if it makes a difference. I have had a few body products from Whish in my Birchbox and I've liked them so let's see how this one works out!

Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator
We'll be the first to admit that smooth, dewy skin is right at the top of our beauty wish list (right next to endless, clump-free lashes). This multi-tasking BB cream gets us much closer to our goal — and with minimal effort. It hydrates and calms skin, evens tone, controls shine, lightly masks imperfections, and, thanks to tiny flecks of light-reflecting pigments, infuses skin with a fresh-from the-yoga-studio radiance. This hypoallergenic, gluten-free, perfume-free, and oil-free formula is perfect for those with sensitive skin.
The weather recently has been terrible here in the UK, but that does not mean that we cannot at least pretend to be getting that gorgeous glow! I have tried a few tinted moisturisers and I do love the glow that they can give the skin so I am really interested in giving this a go. I am a big fan of the Marcelle make-up remover so I have big expectations for this product!

So that's what was in my Birchbox this month! I am really looking forward to trying to these products, if you have tried any of these, let me know your thoughts in the comments!
